Painting & Mixed Media

Bonnie Levinson works in multiple layers using photography, painting, and mixed media. She explores the commonalities and uniqueness of the mediums, often through color, to shape my intentions. Her projects seek to make visible that which is hidden, to reveal interconnectedness, to generate atmosphere, ambiguity, and intervals of space. Through these approaches, she brings forward that which may be indecipherable, or beneath the surface, imagining alternate realities grounded in intuition and perception.
